Free Plugins
Reaper is a DAW that works on all three major operating systems: Windows, OS (Mac), and Linux. Therefore it accepts most plugin formats such as VST2 and VST3, AU, DX and LV2, and also has ARA support. In that section you will find the list of my recommended plugins, most of which are free. Developed by German producer John Matthews and available for free through ReaPack, they are an extensive collection of over 40 great-sounding plugins, which is why I chose them as a plugin for Reaper For Artists. John has his channel where he shows his plugins and new releases.
ANALOG OBSESSION (VST)

NALEX AMP SIMS (VST)
Russian developer Alexey Nabzdrev brings us a set of high-gain amp simulators, ideal for different metal styles. Very realistic simulations, with tone and articulation, as well as a very pleasant and configurable visual design.
VADIM TARANOV AMP SIMS (VST)
Russian developer Vadim Taranov produces some of the most realistic simulators and has a fairly extensive collection of classic amplifiers for all tastes such as Marshall, Mesa, Peavey, Engl, among others.
POULIN AMP SIMS (VST)
The name of the developer of these excellent amplifiers is unknown and although he is no longer developing them and no one knows what became of him, we are left with his products that are recreations of classic amplifiers, ideal for playing everything from rock and blues to extreme metal.
IGNITE AMP SIMS (VST)
The Ignite Amps company develops some of the best amp sims on the market, both in its paid products and in those it offers for free. Not only amplifiers, but pedals and cabin simulators are available on their official website.
ML SOUNDLAB AMPED ROOTS (VST)
Among the most modern simulators with the latest technology, without a doubt the Amped Roots, based on the amplifiers of the guitarist and Youtuber Fluff, are the best free option as it combines an amplifier, more pedalboard, more cabin, for a complete and powerful set.
IK MULTIMEDIA FREE PLUGINS (VST)
The Italian company IK Multimedia is among the best in the world and its plugin offering is immense, but the best of all is that most of its main products have a fairly generous free version. An entire production could be done without paying a single cent.
